Description of the Executive Search Process
  • Each executive search project begins with a conference call with the client during which the key parameters for the search are established.

  • A position profile is drafted for client approval. This document describes in detail the company, the role, responsibilities and goals of the position. It also summarizes the experience, qualifications and competencies required for success.

  • With the position profile approved, RSI begins its research into companies and sectors to find those best qualified for the position.

  • On the basis of its research, RSI approaches potential candidates on an informal basis. Once it determines that an individual is both qualified and interested in the role, a phone interview is arranged with the RSI Lead Recruiter.

  • When suitable candidates for the position are located, resumes are forwarded to the client for review. After the client has selected their preferred candidates, interviews are set, references are checked to further assess competencies, strengths and weaknesses, and to provide our client with a comprehensive view of the individual.

  • When an offer is made to a candidate, RSI is available to participate on the client's behalf when necessary. RSI also stays in touch with the candidate throughout the on-boarding process to ensure a successful placement.
